Airplane on a conveyor belt

I will describe the senario for you to think about then I will post my answer some time later........

A plane is stationary on a runway. The runway is infact a very large conveyor belt. The conveyor belt is programed to match the speed of the wheels of the airplane. The aircraft engines are then powered up to takeoff setting. Will the plane take off or not?
